Welcome to Scira AI. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and services. By using Scira AI, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, please don't use the service.

By accessing or using Scira AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Scira AI is an AI assistant that helps users research information on the internet and take action through connected third-party apps. It uses artificial intelligence to process search queries, deliver results, and interact with external services via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Our service is hosted on Vercel and integrates with AI providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google, and others to deliver search results and content generation. Pro and Max users can also connect third-party apps (GitHub, Notion, Slack, etc.) via MCP.

You agree not to use Scira AI to:

• Engage in activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Conduct automated queries or scrape the service
• Generate or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

While we strive for accuracy, Scira AI:

• Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any results
• Is not responsible for content generated from your search queries
• May provide links to third-party websites over which we have no control

Use judgment when evaluating results. Scira AI shouldn't be the sole source for important decisions, especially medical, legal, or financial ones.

All content, features, and functionality of Scira AI, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the property of Scira AI or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Scira codebase is open source under AGPL-3.0; the trademarks, brand assets, and hosted service remain ours.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the hosted service or its proprietary assets without explicit permission.

Scira AI relies on third-party services to function:

• Hosted on Vercel's infrastructure
• AI processing via OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google, and others
• Pro and Max users may connect third-party apps (GitHub, Notion, Slack, etc.) via MCP, which may transmit data to those services
• Billing and subscriptions managed by Polar and DodoPayments
• Each third-party service has its own terms and privacy policy
• We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services

Scira AI offers free and paid subscription plans. See our Pricing page for current details and regional pricing.

• Free. Limited daily searches with basic AI models and 13 search modes.
• Scira Pro. $15/month (₹1390/month in India). Unlimited daily searches, all base models, all 18 search modes, plus extreme deep research, PDF, voice, MCP apps, Lookouts, Connectors, Memory, XQL, Canvas, and priority support. Subject to the per-model quotas described in §08.
• Scira Max. $60/month (₹5990/month in India). Everything in Pro, plus higher Anthropic Claude access, Gemini 3.1 Pro, and Scira Agent (limited preview). Subject to the per-model quotas described in §08.

Payment data. Scira AI does not store payment card details, bank information, or other sensitive payment data. All payment processing is handled directly by Polar and DodoPayments.

We may, without prior notice, change the availability, pricing category, or tier of specific AI models at any time, including moving models between Free, Pro, and Max tiers, if usage patterns, costs, reliability, security, or other operational factors make it necessary.

Some AI models cost more to run than others. To keep paid plans sustainable, several models are subject to per-plan quotas. Quotas reset on the schedule shown.

Pro plan caps.

• Claude Haiku 4.5: unlimited within fair use
• Claude Sonnet 4.6 (and Sonnet Thinking): 150 messages per calendar month
• Claude Opus 4.7 (and Opus Thinking): 30 messages per calendar month
• OpenAI GPT 5.4 family (Instant, Mini, Nano): pooled cap of 40 requests per calendar week. GPT 5.5 is not available on Pro.

Max plan caps.

• All Anthropic Claude models (Haiku, Sonnet, Opus, and Thinking variants): pooled cap of 120 requests per calendar week
• Gemini 3.1 Pro: 80 requests per calendar month
• OpenAI GPT 5.4 family and GPT 5.5: pooled cap of 40 requests per calendar week (5.5 counts toward the same weekly cap as the 5.4 models)

Quota numbers reflect current limits and may change. The latest values are always shown on the Pricing page.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period
• You keep access to paid features until the subscription expires
• Your account reverts to the Free plan automatically
• No partial refunds are provided for unused portions

No refund policy. All subscription fees are final and non-refundable. Consider this carefully before subscribing.

Your use of Scira AI is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scira AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Scira AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error- free outputs, or that the service will meet your requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Scira AI, with or without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or harms other users, us, or third parties.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Scira AI operates.
